Chios is one of the largest islands of the Aegean. Chios has a rich history and is endowed with many significant monuments.

The alternation of landscapes, colors and impressions make it unique.
Chios has also a particular natural environment. It is called “Myrovolos” (fragrant’) due to the plethora of magical fragrances derived from the land. The countryside varies from the fertile south to the rough north where the massifs of Pelinaio and Amani are found.

It has retained many elements of its history and has become a popular destination for tourists. The rich Chios history, the various monuments and the crystal-clear beaches are just few of the things that make Chios unique among other islands.

Features are in the center of Chios Castle, the library of Korai and the Aplotaria street which is the central market of the island. Do not miss the tulips that grow in March mainly in the central and southeast of the island (called lalades in the local dialect). Lalades of Chios are 10 out of the 100 species of tulips that exist worldwide! Also visit the baths, caves, and many other attractions that will surely impress you
